As an online business marketer, you may be developing your sales funnel and wondering if you should focus on pushing your opportunity or product. There is no right or wrong way to do it, in fact, 7 figure earners test both ways.
When you are in MLM or Top Tier Direct Network Marketing, it is an amazing opportunity. I’m from America and the way we see it is that it is the American dream. You see, becoming an entrepreneur in this industry allows you to:
– Work from home
– Have a flexibile schedule (I work 4 hours at night & spend the day with my kids)
– Write your own paycheck (It is your business)
– Get out of debt 10X faster than any job would allow you to
These are just a few of the benefits of the opportunity. Whats so funny about it is that everyone wants this, but for some reason or another it is easier for them to stay in their job…or is it?
When marketing your opportunity, you will always have a product behind the opportunity. Otherwise it isn’t a credible opportunity. Think about it, it would basically be just money changing in hands with nothing tangible.
The product behind the opportunity is called a back end product. This is because it isn’t marketed on the front end for you to see right off.
When marketing a top tier product, you offer a lower ticket item first and gradually work them into the higher ticket item. This is done by every industry Guru I can think of, Mike Dillard, Perry Marshall, Johnathan Budd, Mark Hooverson, etc.
People are more likely to purchase your expensive product if they are eased into it by a cheaper product first. They get into the rhythm of the sales funnel and with good ad copy buy everything out of emotion and justify it by logic later.
As An Online Business Marketer-Should You Target The Opportunity Or the Product Part 2 will discuss promoting the product.
